HAITI ENDOWMENT FUND

One of Haiti Endowments primary goals has always been to rise up Christian Leaders and Pastors, called by God, from amongst there own people. These servants are trained and discipled in God’s Word. They then take the Gospel to the villages, throughout the upper plateau of Haiti.

To realize this goal, the Pastors Institute was started several years ago. This ministry is lead by Pastor Iliobert Berson, who is the Haitian manager of Haiti Endowment. The Pastors Institute is a three-year Bible course that is held at the compound, in Hinche. This school meets six times per year, for an intense three-day session. The students will live at the compound, during these sessions. All meals and learning materials are provided. The Pastors Institute teaches a verse-by-verse method in the Word of God. We believe this brings the “whole counsel of God,” to each new pastor.

In June of 2006, we saw our first graduating class of twenty-two students. After completing the three-year course, all twenty-two of them are now pastoring in churches throughout central Haiti.  The current class has thirty-five students. We praise God for His love and faithfulness to the Haitian people, and to this ministry.

In addition to the Pastors Institute, Haiti Endowment also provides semi-annual conferences for both women and Christian leaders. These four day conferences are held at the compound, in Hinche. Our last women’s conference was attended by over one hundred and fifty women. They enjoyed Christian speakers, craft sessions and a clothing boutique. The Christian leaders conference was attended by thirty five Haitian pastors and laymen. This was a time for spiritual renewal, encouragement and refreshment.  On several occasions each year, various pastors from the United States come to Hinche, at their own expense, to teach at the conferences and the Institute. Your donations make this ministry possible.
